In 1922, Marshall Girls won their only girls basketball State Championship with a 22-17 win over Edmond. This was only Marshall's 2nd appearance (and last) in the girls basketball state tournament appearance. Their first was the year before in 1921. Marshall school won one other state championship in their school history, in 1964 in football with a 40-12 8-man win over Turpin.
