Spring Cleaning?? Flashback to 2008!

Found this "Historical Document" while doing a little cleaning over the long weekend! Most of you remember these, the Coaches Aid Tip Off Magazines???


2008 featured three ALL-TIME greats in Oklahoma High School Basketball.


ROTNEI CLARKE

Had the most productive scoring career EVER in Oklahoma high school boys basketball landing at #1 on the ALL-TIME scoring list with 3758 career points averaging 33.3 PPG in 113 high school games. Verdigris was 98-15 over that span falling in the semi finals each of his first 3 years but Rotnei finished his stellar career as a State Champion winning his final game in the 2008 Class 3A State Championship defeating Tahlequah Sequoyah 62-51. Rotnei has the most points ever scored in an Oklahoma State Tournament Basketball game with 60, which he accomplished the opening round his Junior year against Vian. Here's a few more career stats :

- Career FG% : 59.9%

- Career 3PFG% : 46.8% (500 of 1069)

- Career Assists : 580 (5.1 APG)

- Career Rebounds : 788 (7.0 RBPG)

- Career FT% : 88.7%

Rotnei went on to play for the University of Arkansas where he started every game of his freshman year. As a sophomore he set an SEC record with 13 three-pointers in a game. He transferred after his Junior year to Butler. After college Clarke has been playing overseas and is currently playing in Australia for the Illawarra Hawks.

KEITON PAGE

Had the 2nd most productive scoring career ever in Oklahoma high school boys basketball landing at #2 on the ALL-TIME scoring list with 3709 career points and averaging 33.4 PPG in 111 high school games. Pawnee was 103-13 over his 4 year career and Page led his team to state titles his Freshman and Senior years. He holds the State Championship game scoring record with 54 in his final game and is the ALL-TIME state tournament career scorer with 369 career points. Here's a few more career stats :

- Career FG% : 63.8%

- Career 3PFG% : 49.9%

- Career Assists : 706 (6.4 APG)

- Career FT% : 87.7%

Keiton went on to play at Oklahoma State scoring 1651 career points (10th on the ALL-TIME OSU scoring list) and knocking down 299 3-pointers (2nd on the ALL-TIME list). He is currently the Director of Player Development for the Cowboys.


ANGEL GOODRICH

Angel had one of the most productive high school careers ever in Oklahoma High School. She is on a very short list of players who played in 4 state championship games in their career (winning 3). In Angel's 4 years at Sequoyah Tahlequah, the Lady Indians lost only 7 games (26-2, 29-2, 27-0 and 27-3). Goodrich is tied for 35th on the ALL-TIME scoring list (with 2112 points) and is 2nd ALL-TIME on the Oklahoma 5-on-5 State Tournament scoring list with 268 career points. Here are a few more career stats :

- Career Rebounds : 699 (6.2 RPG)

- Career Assists : 746 (6.6 APG)

Angel went on to play at the University of Kansas. She suffered 2 ACL injuries but still went on to score 1262 career points and is the ALL-TIME Assists leader at Kansas. After college Angel went on to play professionally in the WNBA with the Tulsa Shock and Seattle Storm.
